This is a low impact workout which doesn't work you very hard (I'm 53 and workout regularly). I enjoyed it because my achilles are hurting at the moment so I was glad to do something that didn't involve a lot of jumping about. The trainer does the easier moves, whilst Scarlett does the more advanced. I've knocked off a couple of stars because the music was practically non existent and I had to go back a few times because I couldn't follow what they were doing. Both the trainer and Scarlett came across as pleasant and encouraging. I will definitely do again on days where I want to do something slightly easier

Scarlett, 27, also faces demands to repay producers £100,000 after putting the weight back on.The I’m A Celebrity winner’s SuperSlim Me Plan was released on Boxing Day 2016 — a fortnight after she returned from her game show triumph in the Aussie jungle. On the DVD 27-year-old Scarlett tells unsuspecting fans who paid £9.99 for a copy: “If I can do it — a professional couch potato — then you can too. With the help of . . . this cunning plan.”But The Sun on Sunday can reveal that while preparing for the film the star, who shot to fame on Gogglebox, attended the ultra-tough boot camp in Switzerland.Sources said she was also pushed to “breaking point” by a “starvation” diet.Last night, a spokeswoman “categorically” denied she had also taken diet pills. And it emerged Scarlett, who slimmed from 11st 4lb to 8st, faces demands to repay £100,000 after DVD producers claimed she later piled pounds back on.One source said: “The DVD is a sham really. There is no mention of the boot camp where she was climbing mountains and exercising for six hours a day.“Scarlett is one of the most popular young women on TV — a real girl-next-door figure. The DVD gave fans an unrealistic portrayal of how she lost weight.”The source added: “She was really struggling and finding it hard to cope. She was on a starvation diet, exercising way too hard and not eating enough. She was being pushed to breaking point.’’At one point Scarlett even texted a pal saying: “It’s so hard losing weight anyway without this pressure of having to persuade people you’re doing everything they’re telling you even though I know it’s bad on my body only eating like 600/700 calories a day (crying emoji).”In another message she added: “My mam’s going to call I can’t do this anymore its too much and I’m having to almost persuade people to believe me — I wanted to make an honest DVD this doesn’t feel right (crying emoji).”As part of the DVD deal Scarlett had to lose three stone and, to guarantee she reached the goal of eight stone, was put through a five-month fitness regime. On the disc, the star advises fans who want to shed the pounds to follow a diet of 1,200 calories a day — which is almost double the amount she was eating. The DVD opens with Scarlett saying: “I must admit I was a proper exercise avoider — which is weird for me because, up until five years ago, I was a keen ballroom dancer and I was really into fitness.“But as soon as I stopped I just piled the weight back on and to be honest I was in denial about the changes my body had went through.

I bought this DVD as I'm a fan of Scarlett and wanted an extra cardio workout on top of my 4 day gym sessions. At first I was unimpressed with the artwork on the dvd. Many professional workout dvds from celebs i.e. Davina, Jillian Michaels, contain a menu on the back to show what each workout focuses on. Unfortunately this one doesnt but gives an overview of the entire workout. On the menu in the dvd there is a really good diet plan (however consult a PT or doctor if 1350 calories a day is right for you) with some yummy and easy to follow recipes. Again disappointed by the workouts as each is called "superslim routine 1, 2,3" etc.On the plus side, the workouts themselves are really good and very practical for beginners or if you want to fit an aerobics session in. Each routine is about 10mins long and each work up a sweat which is the main goal.Defo recommend :)

I bought this DVD when it was released but didn't start using until the 1st January. I had watched Scarlett in 'I'm a Celebrity' and thought she had a nice personality and also very down to earth.I'm seven months post pregnancy and wanted a DVD I could do at home and fit into 'mum life'.The DVD has a warm up and cool down section and 8 sections in between.Scarlett recommends doing the DVD 4 times a week which is completely 'do able'.I started working out when I got the all clear from the doctor. I did Jillian Michaels 30 day shred each day and also had a personal trainer for a block of ten hourly sessions doing that twice a week. With doing that I had inch loss but the weight wasn't falling.A week and a half into doing this DVD I have lost 7.5lbs and 8 inches. I'm also using the My Fitness Pal app which is also working as it's making me really think about what I'm eating. So I am also doing a calorie controlled diet.I can't recommend this DVD enough.. it's tough but has just the right amount of different exercises that you don't get bored, and when the muscles start aching it changes so you get that instant relief. There is no massive commentary.. just enough to keep you on track so it doesn't get irritating.. and both Scarlett and the trainer are encouraging and motivate you at just the right time. Most of the high impact moves are at the beginning when you have the most energy and towards the end the moves are still tough but do able after having completed the previous sections. I do the whole workout start to finish.I like the fact that there aren't any pauses between moves like other fitness DVDs I have bought so you can just crack on and get the workout done. The cool down section is also long enough that it really helps you stretch out. The first time I used the DVD I really ached the next day.. was hurting to walk up and down stairs but since then it's been fine.. you feel the ache but not that it prevents you doing anything the next day.I have bought numerous DVDs in the past and have never left a review.. but with this one I can't recommend enough.Full body workout with results!!

I love this DVD, it is very well put together. Scarlett comes across down to earth and personable. Lee, her trainer is friendly and professional. The setting in which they work out is easy on the eye and the music is welcoming and uplifting to workout to.The DVD workouts are as follows:Warm up takes just over 5 minutes to complete, the exercises are easy to follow and set you up for the workout well and at a good pace. The Superslim sections are a mixture of full body work out moves, mainly geared around punching, kicking, jumping and floor work. They alternate between full cardio to toning exercises rolled into each section.Superslim section 1: takes 7 minutes to complete, are standing moves that are enjoyable and easy to do.Superslim section 2: takes 5 minutes to complete, are standing moves and floor exercises, enjoyable and easy to do. It certainly got me puffing.Superslim section 3: takes 7 minutes to complete, are standing moves and floor work, easy to follow and enjoyable, I was out of puff at the end, which is good.Superslim section 4: takes 5 minutes to complete, mainly floor moves. I found this challenging due to hand and shoulder issues that I sometimes have, so I won't be doing this section, but if you don't have problems here, then I would imagine it is a good section.Superslim section 5: takes 7 minutes to complete, consisting of standing moves and floor moves, Good section.Superslim section 6: takes 5 minutes to complete, that were standing moves and floor work and was enjoyable to do.Superslim section 7: takes 7 minutes to complete, standing moves only. My favourite section, as no floor work.Superslim section 8: takes 5 minutes to complete, Ab's workout only and done on the floor, if you have neck issues like I do, you can improvise the moves to standing up ab work or make sure you hold your neck to support it if you do them on the floor.Cool down: This takes 7 minutes and is lovely and calming to do. The stretches are wonderful and cool you down whilst calming down your breathing.During the workout there is good cue’s, so you know what exercise is coming next. Mostly the exercises are at a count of 4, 3 and 2, so you can count in the moves before you change to the next exercise, this helps you become more fluid when working out and helps you learn the moves quicker.During all the workouts Scarlett shows us the intermediate/advance options and Lee mainly shows us the easy/beginner version of the exercise, which is very helpful. Lee and Scarlett both have nice chemistry between them, so working out with them is enjoyable. The DVD has a play all section, which shows the intro and is the only place you can see the intro, there is a workout section which shows all the workouts in one go and a chapters section for each workout, but to me this could have been improved on, because I wanted to mix and match the sections, by playing them in the order I wanted to do them as you can on some DVD's.This DVD certainly got me sweating and out of puff. I could certainly feel the exercises working. I am an intermediate exerciser in my late 40's and have been working out for over 20 years. I found this DVD to be a good pace for me, but equally it would be excellent for a beginner too, the beginner options are easy to do and follow.I highly recommend this workout DVD for a full body work out.
