Helps a lot with fryer to help reuse the oil. I just use this as strainer to transfer back to original container after oil cools.

Cooked my chicken thoroughly. Great for one or two people. Easy to clean. I recommend a strainer pot to filter the oil for reuse. Just.plug it in & allow the oil to heat to temperature in about 12 minutes. Only use the plastic lid when the oil has cooled. Do not cover the pot while cooking. Unplug the pot when you’re done. There are no indicators or switches. A ready light would have been nice.

Now I don’t mind reusing my grease! The strainer really does a great job of keeping the grease clean from all those food particles that normally get through

all in all it is really great. but when i strain my grease out my big fryer it is about a cup of grease that won't fit.

Is exactly what I was looking for and is the perfect size for storing in the frig! Doesn't take up a lot of room, and the mesh strainer works perfectly!
